Trevor Persaud, DO, is the medical director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program and Associate Program Director of the Mayo Clinic/Brooks Rehab PM&R Residency at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL. He is focused on the expansion of inpatient and outpatient physiatry services for brain injury patients at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital – University Campus.
Dr. Persaud received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine–Georgia Campus, Suwanee, Georgia. He then completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, where he served as chief resident and received “Resident of the Year.” After his residency, Persaud completed a fellowship in Brain Injury Rehabilitation Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Outside of medicine, Persaud enjoys traveling and visiting national parks, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
