Professor Eun Jae Ko, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea. She specializes in pediatric rehabilitation, with clinical and research expertise spanning the diagnosis, care, and functional recovery of preterm infants and children with complex medical conditions. Her work includes rehabilitation for children with neurologic deficits, genetic disorders, cardiopulmonary and hematologic diseases, as well as those undergoing solid organ or hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Her research focuses on early intervention and technology-assisted assessment and rehabilitation, including the application of computer vision, artificial intelligence, and digital biomarkers to evaluate and enhance motor and functional outcomes in high-risk pediatric populations. She is actively involved in multidisciplinary clinical programs and international collaborations aimed at advancing evidence-based pediatric rehabilitation and improving long-term functional outcomes for children with medical complexity.
