Mr. Alberto Isaac Perez-Sanpablo, PhD, is a Junior Medical Sciences Researcher at the Motion Analysis and Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory of the Mexican National Institute of Rehabilitation Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra (NIR-LGII), Associate Professor at La Salle University in Mexico City, and President of the Innovation and Technology Committee of the National College of Biomedical Engineering of Mexico. He has been affiliated with NIR-LGII since 2009 and received his PhD in Automatic Control from CINVESTAV, Mexico, in 2020. His research focuses on human movement analysis, rehabilitation engineering, surface electromyography, neurorehabilitation, and robotic rehabilitation. He has authored 30 articles in indexed journals, holds 15 intellectual property registrations, and has delivered more than 60 presentations at national and international scientific conferences. He has supervised several undergraduate and graduate research projects. He has received national and international recognition, including accreditation as Researcher Level I in the Mexican National System of Researchers (2023) and the Mulcahey Award from the American Spinal Injury Association (2022). He is an active member of several national and international scientific and technological associations.
