Manoj is Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Leeds and Honorary NHS Consultant at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He previously served as President of the British Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and currently chairs its Research and Clinical Standards Committee. He is also Clinical Research Lead for the forthcoming National Rehabilitation Centre, a major new rehabilitation hospital and research centre in the UK. He chairs the ISPRM INFORM taskforce, focused on developing an International Framework for Rehabilitation Medics. In recognition of his contributions to the specialty globally, he received the ISPRM Sidney Licht Lectureship Award in 2024.
