Amanda Lee Mayo MD MHSc FRCPC is a Canadian physiatrist specializing in limb loss rehabilitation, prosthetics, and amputation prevention. Prior to Medicine, she obtained a Master's in Clinical Engineering focusing on usability and design of healthcare technology. She is the Chief of the St. John's Rehab Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto and an Associate Director at the University of Toronto's Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (CQuIPS). Dr. Mayo is an Associate Professor in the Division of Physiatry, Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on improving the continuum of care for individuals with limb loss. She leads the Sunnybrook Digital Prosthetic and Orthotic Research lab innovating 3D printing and computer-assisted design (CAD) to improve prosthetic and orthotic care.
