300 Section - Application effect of early lung rehabilitation nursing based on health behavior interaction mode in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
nurse Chongqing Changshou District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chongqing, Chongqing, China (People's Republic)
Objectives : To explore the impact of early pulmonary function rehabilitation nursing guided by the Interaction Model of Client Health Behavior (IMCHB) on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Design: A randomized controlled trial design was used to select 120 patients with acute exacerbation of COPD admitted to the respiratory department of a tertiary hospital from January to December 2024. They were randomly divided into an intervention group (n=60) and a control group (n=60) using a random number table method. The control group received routine pulmonary rehabilitation nursing, while the intervention group received IMCHB theoretical framework based on the control group. Compare the lung function indicators (FEV1% predicted value, FEV1/FVC), COPD self-management scale (CASMS) score, COPD assessment test (CAT) score, and 6-minute walking distance (6MWD) between two groups before and after 3 months of intervention.
Results: After intervention, the predicted FEV1% and 6MWD of the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group (both P< 0.01); The total score and scores of each dimension of CASMS were better than those of the control group (all P< 0.05); The CAT score was significantly lower than that of the control group (P< 0.01).
Conclusion: Early lung function rehabilitation nursing based on IMCHB can effectively improve lung function in COPD patients and provide new ideas for COPD acute phase rehabilitation.
