Dr. Zhiguan Huang, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the School of Exercise and Health at Guangzhou Sport University and the Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center for Sports Assistive Devices. His research primarily focuses on sports and health promotion, sports biomechanics, assistive device ergonomics, and rehabilitation engineering. Dr. Huang is an accomplished scholar who has authored and edited multiple textbooks and publications, including "Youth Cardiopulmonary Function Training," "Youth Growth and Physical Exercise," and "Sports and Health Promotion." In addition to his academic roles, he holds several key leadership positions, serving as the Director of the Guangzhou Sport University-Linzhi Joint Laboratory for Sports Protection and Polymer Materials, and the Vice Director of the Guangdong Engineering Technology Research Center for Sports Assistive Devices. Furthermore, Dr. Huang actively leads numerous high-impact research projects. These include biomechanical studies funded by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on lower limb injury risks, as well as various provincial and industry-sponsored initiatives investigating sports protective footwear, youth flatfoot improvement, and rehabilitation engineering. His extensive work continues to make significant contributions to the fields of sports science and biomechanical health.
