Luz Guadalupe Cruz Huanca, MD is a third-year resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Instituto Nacional de Rehabilitación in Lima, Peru, affiliated with the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. Her clinical interests include neurorehabilitation, musculoskeletal ultrasound, pain management, and sports and para-sport rehabilitation. She is particularly interested in practical, evidence-based approaches that enhance function and participation, especially in resource-limited settings. She remains actively engaged in clinical training and academic activities as part of her residency.
