I am a 31-year-old physician born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. I earned my medical degree (MD) from the University of Guadalajara and completed my specialty training in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Centro Médico Nacional de Occidente of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS). I subsequently completed a fellowship in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Hospital 20 de Noviembre of the ISSSTE in Mexico City.
I currently work as a rehabilitation physician at the Centro Médico Nacional de Occidente, while also providing online training programs focused on women and maintaining a private clinical practice. I have collaborated as a rehabilitation physician with the local professional baseball team, Charros de Jalisco.
My professional interests include evidence-based exercise prescription, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and the use of physical activity as a tool for health promotion. I also engage in educational outreach through social media, aiming to translate exercise and rehabilitation concepts for the general population. Outside of my professional activities, I maintain an active lifestyle, currently gym training, bouldering and yoga, and value spending time with my parents and sister.
