Kevin Franzese, DO is an assistant professor in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Franzese completed his residency training in PM&R at the Rusk Institute at the New York University School of Medicine and his fellowship training in Brain Injury Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) at Northwestern University School of Medicine.
Dr. Franzese presently practices brain injury, stroke and neurological rehabilitation on a teaching service at at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His academic interests lie in acute care management of patients with severe traumatic brain injuries and in interdisciplinary education and wellness.
