Biography
Dr. Jehane H. Dagher is an Associate Professor in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Université de Montréal. She is a physiatrist at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal, a consultant at the Montreal Rehabilitation Institute, and at the neurosurgical trauma service of the Montreal General Hospital – McGill University Health Centre.
She is subspecialized in neurorehabilitation, particularly in Traumatic Brain Injury, Electromyography and Spasticity,
Highly committed to medical education, she teaches residents and medical students.
She is Vice-President of the Canadian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and an executive member of the Continuing Medical Education committee of the Association of Physiatrists of Quebec. She also serves as a medical examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, which grants medical licenses in the country.
Her clinical research focuses on rehabilitation, epidemiology, and outcomes of traumatic brain injuries, and she regularly publishes in these areas. She is also a speaker at national and international conferences. To raise public awareness on concussion prevention, she frequently appears in the media as an expert.
