Antimo Moretti is Associate Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, President of the Degree Course in Physiotherapy, and Director of the Residency Program in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli". His research focuses on Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, particularly in Metabolic Bone Disorders and Pain Management. He is an active member of several national and international Scientific Societies. He serves as Treasurer of the Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SIMFER); Councilor of the Italian Society of Osteoporosis, Mineral Metabolism and Skeletal Diseases (SIOMMMS); President of the Italian Society of Orthopedics, Medicine and Rare Skeletal Diseases (ORTOMED), Councilor of the Italian Group for Study of Severe Osteoporosis (GISOOS); and Councilor of the Italian Society for the Unified and Interdisciplinary Management of Musculoskeletal pain and Algodystrophy (SI-GUIDA).
Prof. Moretti is the Secretary of the Committee liaising between the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) and the World Health Organization (WHO), with the aim of promoting rehabilitation as a fundamental component of global health. He is also a mentor for the international Capture the Fracture® program, promoted by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF), supporting hospitals and healthcare centers in improving the prevention of fragility fractures. He contributes to working groups for the development of national and international clinical guidelines on the management of various musculoskeletal conditions.
He participates in clinical trials as both Principal Investigator and Subinvestigator and has been awarded several research projects. He is the author of numerous papers published in National and International Journals and is an invited speaker at many National and International Congresses.
