Simra Javaid, DO, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. She is an assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. She’s affiliated with TIRR Memorial Hermann and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital where she provides comprehensive care for children with physical disabilities, cerebral palsy, spasticity, dystonia, acquired brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, and myelomeningocele. She’s passionate about ensuring her patients have access to equitable care and emphasizes personalized care for each individual based on their needs and those of their family.
