Pascale, Naples, Italy Monica Pinto, Medical Degree with honors in 1988, Specialization in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care in 1991 and in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine in 2004, Certification of Senior Fellow in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine since 2021 at the European Board of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, n. 3 Master of Science, is Director of the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit at the National Cancer Institute - IRCCS - G. Pascale Foundation of Naples from August 1st, 2021. She received the Italian Scientific Qualification as a Full Professor in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine ( MEDS-19/B, formerly 06/04 Diseases of the Locomotor System and Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, MED/34 Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine) in 2023 and as an Associate Professor in 2020. She is the Secretary of the Cancer Rehabilitation Group of the Italian Society of PRM and Co-Chair of the Research Task Force of the Cancer Rehabilitation Special Interest Group of the ISPRM, member of the Quality of Life Group of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). Her main fields of research are the development of quality of life assessment tools,oncology rehabilitation, telerehabilitation, secondary lymphedema, bone health, Soft Tissue Sarcoma. H index 19 from Scopus (updated 03/07/2025). She is PI of the ongoing Research Project funded by the Italian Ministry of Health ( PNRR-TR1-2023-12378226 project) on Robotic Rehabilitation for Soft Tissue Sarcomas and PI of European projects on Quality of Life in cancer patients funded by EORTC.
