Ève Boissonnault completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Université de Montréal. In July 2022, she pursued additional training in spasticity and neurorehabilitation under Dr. Paul Winston and Dr. Rajiv Reebye, both based in British Columbia. She then worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal, where she contributed to the physiatry service at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), the spasticity clinic at the Villa Medica Rehabilitation Hospital, and the Institut universitaire sur la réadaptation en déficience physique de Montréal (IURDPM).
Recently, she accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta and is currently working at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, primarily in post-stroke rehabilitation and spasticity management.
Her main research interests focus on the multimodal management of spasticity, ultrasound-observed changes in the architecture of spastic muscles, and the development of innovative treatments for spasticity.
