Dr. Ranita Manocha (MD, MSc, FRCPC, CSCN[EMG]) is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. She completed specialty training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Clinician Investigator Program at Western University and medical school at the University of British Columbia. She also obtained an MSc in Medical Biophysics and a BA in Cross-Disciplinary Studies (Medical Biophysics, Music) from Western University. Her areas of clinical expertise include bracing, wheelchair seating, connective tissue disorders, and peripheral nerve injuries. She also runs the Better Mobility Lab, where her research team studies walking aids, braces, exercise interventions, and joint hypermobility conditions.
