Dr. Raktim Swarnakar, MBBS, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR), All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar, India and previously attached to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Jhajjar Campus, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. He is a clinician–researcher who has worked in cancer rehabilitation and has a strong academic interest in improving functional outcomes and quality of life among individuals with cancer. His research interests also include neurorehabilitation, and he has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Swarnakar is the recipient of several national and international academic and research awards, reflecting his contributions to clinical research and academic excellence. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and is committed to advancing research capacity and evidence-based rehabilitation practice.
Through his research, teaching, and clinical work, he advocates for the systematic integration of rehabilitation into comprehensive medical care.
